Talk – Dr. Toby Thacker will be talking about the life of Hubert Parry.

Dr. Toby Thacker, a senior lecturer in Modern History at Cardiff University, will be joining us to discuss the life of Hubert Parry. Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry was an English composer, probably best known for his music for William Blake’s poem, Jerusalem. Born in Bournemouth, Hampshire, and brought up at Highnam Court, Gloucestershire, he was the second son of Thomas Gambier Parry, of Highnam Court, Gloucester.
